Shelley’s Way is seeking Licensed Therapists/Counselors who possess the passion and empathy to join our team!
As part of our expansion initiative, we are actively seeking to assemble a diverse and highly skilled team to deliver therapeutic counseling services tailored to the needs of children and families within their home, school, and community settings. We are currently recruiting Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Social Workers (LSWs), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Associate Counselors (LACs), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs). Successful candidates will be tasked with providing counseling services to children ranging from 3 to 19 years old, thereby contributing to the enhancement of their mental and emotional well-being within a supportive and nurturing environment.
Facilitating impactful change entails equipping both children and caregivers with essential strategies tailored to effectively address maladaptive or high-risk behaviors, fostering the cultivation of healthier family dynamics. Through our comprehensive approach, we aim to instill practical techniques and insights that promote sustainable progress. Our commitment lies in empowering individuals within family units with the necessary tools and knowledge, thereby facilitating tangible and enduring improvements in behavioral management and overall family well-being.
LSWs start at $60 per hour, and LCSWs/LPCs start at $70hour!
This is a perfect position for someone who has a passion for working with children who are struggling with mental health and behavioral challenges within the home and the community. If you are interested in part-time employment or full time come join our team! Documentation (progress notes) is due weekly. Supervision from an LCSW is provided according to New Jersey State mandates, as well as guidance and documentation assistance for those working on their LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs.
Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage!
Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
Licensing as a Therapist in the state of New Jersey is mandatory for positions including but not limited to Intensive In-Community (IIC), School-Based Program, Outpatient, and Group counseling.
Telehealth and hybrid work arrangements are permissible in accordance with state regulations.
